Adi (Tusshar Kapoor) and Sid (Ritesh Deshmukh) are two out-of-luck men living in Mumbai. Tusshar Kapoor (Adi) is a struggling actor, who dreams of making a grand debut in Bollywood with films like ' Chingham ', 'Adi'das ( Devdas ), ' Bra-One ' 'Ekta-Tiger' etc, but Mr. Dufus ends up with embarrassing teleshopping ads.
On the other hand Sid is a DJ.Sid’s DJ skills are wasted on sad Gujarati-gone-wild parties.
Adi believes planet Rahu has turned his career into Rahul Roy. An astrologer predicts that Adi’s fortunes will turn when he meets the love of his life – whose name will begin with ‘S’.Very soon he meets Simi (Neha Sharma) and falls hopelessly in love with her. Not wanting to risk losing her,Adi proposes marriage within a few days of meeting her. Instead, Simi gets freaked out and lies about being a lesbian.
On the other hand, Sid meets model Anu (Sarah Jane Dias) at a fashion show.
When Sid discovers that Adi had proposed to Simi with the diamond that belonged to his (Sid’s) pug Sakru, he decides that they must follow Simi to Goa to retrieve their stone.
Unknown to the duo, Simi and Anu are good friends chilling together in Goa.  Anu’s father (Anupam Kher) is a billionaire being cheated by Baba 3G (Chunky Pandey) into believing that a pug is the rebirth of his deceased mother.
How Sid manages to woo Anu, Adi tries to win back Simi and lots of weird dog-humping forms the rest of the story.
Review
Director Sachin Yardi has done an okay job with this comedy film but he has failed to keep it up in second half. After giving back to back hits like Housfull and Houseful 2, Riteish does a great job in the movie, especially his facial expressions work as an added enticement.
Tusshar Kapoor is known for his impeccable comic timing. We have so far seen his dumb acts in the Golmaal series, that has impressed the audiences a lot. He does an incredible job in the film.
Riteish Deshmukh and Tusshar Kapoor delivers good performances. Both female leads, Sarah Jane Dias and Neha Sharma goes waste in the film. They are used just to add glamour to movie.
Anupam Kher is lovely as the disillusioned billionaire who worships pugs as his parents and collects Bollywood paraphernalia. Chunky Pandey is good as Baba 3G. Rohit Shetty is fun in a guest role .

There are scenes that might leave you laugh. The songs 'Dil GardenGarden Ho Gaya', 'Shirt Da Button' and 'UP Bihar Lootne' are wonderful tracks.

What's Gud
  • Acting by Ritesh Deshmukh is superb.
  • Some songs are good.
  • Some comedy sequence are entertaining.

What's Bad
  • There are lots of dirty jokes so you cant watch the movie with your family.
On the whole, Kya Super Kool Hai Hum is average. If you like the naughty jokes and a lover of madcap entertainment, Kya Super Kool Hai Hum will surely not disappoint you.

Cocktail Review & Story

Ratting  * * *

Country India (Hindi)
Budget 40 Crore aprx

Story
Meera (Diana Penty) is stranded in London after her husband Kunal (Randeep Hooda) refuses to take her home. She meets Veronica (Deepika Padukone). Veronica takes Meera home and allows her to live with her,the two females start staying under the same roof in London.
Gautam, who gets a dream job in London, too moves in with them, under the same roof. Initially, Meera cannot stand the sight of Gautam but manages to bear him as he is her best friend’s boyfriend. When Gautam’s mother (Dimple Kapadia) lands up at their door, he puts up a show of Meera being his girlfriend (rather than Veronica of whom his mother would definitely disapprove). Gautam’s mother immediately approves of the shy, homely Meera and has great plans for their wedding back in India.
Forced to hang out together, Gautam and Meera start liking each other and sparks fly between them. On cue, Veronica decides that she loves Gautam and wants to spend the rest of her life with him.
Now Gautam has to chose between Meera and Veronica. Unable to decide between the two, he removes himself from their lives but unlike his intentions, this sudden emptiness in both Meera and Veronica's life worsens living for both.
The film beautifully defines enjoyable, entertaining and entangled friendships, these three are perfect friends, staying under one roof. They all have a blast, until love happens. The perfect friendship turns confusing, and love becomes complicated.

Performance
Saif Ali Khan, even at 40, carries his boyish charm effortlessly, and woos the two hotties in the film. Saif Ali Khan looks absolutely well-groomed,. Though he looks a little older as compared to the two young ladies. Saif Ali Khan is very good as the playboy Gautam and equally cute when he tries to win Meera.
Deepika Padukone plays her part of the confused-spoilt-brat-with-a-heart-of-gold quite well. Diana Penty surprises with an apt performance as the subdued Meera (though she didn’t have much of emoting in the film). BomanIrani is really enjoyable as Saif’s uncle. Dimple Kapadia is good as Saif’s mother.
Homi Adajania’s direction is alright. While he has chosen a bland story, he’s handled it quite well. Much of the credit also goes to cinematographer Anil Mehta.

Music: Music is just 'WOW'. The foot tapping, peppy number 'Tumhi Ho Bandhu' is fast becoming an anthem for youngsters. And, 'Daru Desi', an innovative desi friendship number is already a rage. Pritam's music is captivating, that leaves you refreshed.

What’s Gud:
  • The screenplay and dialogues are good.
  • Pritam’s music is highlight of the movie.
  • The performances of lead actor and actresses is mind blowing.
  • Camera work is good

What’s Bad:
  • The story is really predictable and the second half brings the movie down.
  • There are unexplained parts in the movie that confuse the viewer.
  • Movie is specially made for multiplex and big cities audience, small city audience would not like the movie.
  • Most of the people would not like climax of the movie.

Verdict: Cocktail is a nice and enjoyable movie for the dialogues, songs, and performances. But the second half is boring.

Watch or Not? Watch it for the enjoyable and funny first half and for the performance of the lead actors.

Destiny plays a cruel role and forces Abbas to perpetrate a bundle of lies infront of Prithiviraj. What happens next? Will Prithviraj ever come to knowabout Abbas's real identity and his lie? Watch out the film to know more.

Review
Rohit Shetty’s direction is efficient as he holds the comedy together
very well. He packs a solid punch again, this time, going a notch
higher. Amar Mohile’s backgroundscore is effective. Himesh Reshammiya,Ajay Gogavale and Atul Gogavale’s music is the highlight of the film. The songs have been beautifully picturised.
Abhishek Bachchan performs competently in the double role. His
portrayal of the gay dancer is amusing. He could have done better in the climax scene.
Ajay Devgan is in his element as Prithviraj, the strongman with the soft heart. He is good in the action sequences. Asin performs ably. Prachi Desai does alright in a small role. Krishna Abhishek, whom many viewers might know from the small screen, is very good in his comedy timing and expressions.
Asrani delivers in a short role. Neeraj Vohra is also very good.
Archana Puran Singh is good. Amitabh Bachchan provides star value in a special appearance.
