Story

Story is highly inspired by 70’s classic comedy ‘Golmaal’starring Amol
Palekar, Bindiya Goswami & Utpal Dutt. However, the best thing is that
the makers openly accept this fact
Bol Bachchan is the story of Abbas Ali (Abhishek Bachchan), a resident of Karol Bagh, New Delhi. He stays there with his sister Sania (Asin) and they are legally fighting to get the title of their property. But, the odds turn against them and they lose the case.Their well-wisher, Shastri Chacha, advises and convinces them to migrate to his village Ranakpur and assures Abbas that he will get him a job at his owner's place. And the owner is none other than the powerful Prithviraj Raghuvanshi.

Abbas accidentally falls victim to an indistinct situation which makes him lie about his name in front of the villagers in Ranakpur.
Hence, a series of cover-ups, goof-ups and comic situations comes up, where to cover one lie, Abbas starts padding up witha bigger lie telling people that he also has a twin brother . And then, starts the real story. Abbas lands up working as a supervisor with the lie hater Prithviraj. Destiny plays a cruel role and forces Abbas to perpetrate a bundle of lies infront of Prithiviraj. What happens next? Will Prithviraj ever come to knowabout Abbas's real identity and his lie? Watch out the film to know more.

Review
Rohit Shetty’s direction is efficient as he holds the comedy together
very well. He packs a solid punch again, this time, going a notch
higher. Amar Mohile’s backgroundscore is effective. Himesh Reshammiya,Ajay Gogavale and Atul Gogavale’s music is the highlight of the film. The songs have been beautifully picturised.
Abhishek Bachchan performs competently in the double role. His
portrayal of the gay dancer is amusing. He could have done better in the climax scene.
Ajay Devgan is in his element as Prithviraj, the strongman with the soft heart. He is good in the action sequences. Asin performs ably. Prachi Desai does alright in a small role. Krishna Abhishek, whom many viewers might know from the small screen, is very good in his comedy timing and expressions.
Asrani delivers in a short role. Neeraj Vohra is also very good.
Archana Puran Singh is good. Amitabh Bachchan provides star value in a special appearance.
